  1. Hi!

Great list! I haven’t tried Shanga-rito (brilliant name! Puns are always appreciated in Mexico. Sounds Asian, but it’s actually mesoamerican)

One place I think is worth looking into is “Ta’Consciente” (I’m a huge fan!) Maybe you can give it a try and if it gets the “Ebert thumbs up” you could add it to the list. It’s a hidden gem that deserves to be known by more people. The only vegan taco place I’ve found in Mexico and it’s delicious!!!

It’s located at Calle 30 between Avenida 30 and Avenida 25. It’s a house with a red door (but not like the on in “Taken” this one is a happy place!) You can check’em out here (Good people, with good hearts and great food. Walk in, towards the end, turn right. Stop when you see smiles):

Some new social network (NOOT!): https://www.facebook.com/taconsciente/

    Thanks Claire!

    1. Ohhhh sounds great! I’m heading back to Playa tomorrow and looking for a lunch spot! Might have to check this out and add it to the list. Thanks so much Miguel!
